"The Detroit Zoo plans to break ground on the $26 million Polk Penguin Conservation Center in April. Over the past six months, it's raised another $10 million for the project, giving it $21 million so far, Communications Director Patricia Janeway Mills said Thursday. That includes $10 million from zoo Vice Chairman Stephen Polk, who is chairman of IHS Automotive Inc. in Southfield, and a $3 million grant from the William Davidson Foundation."
