350 City of Detroit positions up for grabs at job fair

"Detroit residents seeking work are encouraged to attend a job fair Friday and Saturday, where they can learn about 350 vacant positions in the city government’s workforce. Applicants should bring multiple copies of their résumés. The city is looking to hire police officers, bus drivers, general auto mechanics, construction inspectors, buildings trades workers, general electrical workers, plumbers and other workers. The fair runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Cobo Center."
