Detroit adds surveillance cameras to buses amidst violence, assaults

"Detroit is outfitting its bus fleet with surveillance equipment in an ongoing effort to curb violence. The city’s COO Gary Brown tells The Detroit News an initial $123,000 effort starting Monday will equip 50 Detroit Department of Transportation buses with surveillance cameras within a month. More are to get cameras later."
