Wings Overcome To Tie Series At 2
Detroit News Online:
"Maybe it was poetic justice for the Red Wings.
Having outplayed the San Jose Sharks for most of the game, but still finding themselves trailing, the Wings finally got a few breaks to go their way.
Robert Lang scored with 33.1 seconds left in regulation time, and Mathieu Schneider scored on the power play in overtime to give the Wings a dramatic 3-2 victory.
'We earned that victory tonight,' said Schneider, who scored his second goal of the playoffs at 16:04 of overtime. 'We battled all night long. That second goal they scored was pretty fluky and it easily could have gotten us down. But we kept at it.'"
